Ashiana

Ashiana Housing Ltd. is active in moderate to upper-middle-income residential housing developments in India, mostly in industrial areas along the Delhi-Mumbai industrial corridor supported by the Government of India. Apartments and group housing complexes are among its residential real estate development initiatives. Furthermore, it builds limited retail and commercial assets, such as hotels and retirement homes for older persons.

Ashiana Housing & Finance (India) Limited was established on June 25, 1986, under the Companies Act, 1956. In 2007, the company's name was changed to its current name.

OUR JOURNEY

It was 1979, and India was gradually entering the neoliberal era. Middle-class India, riding the country's economic narrative, was anxious for decent quality homes, which were hard to get by in its price range. Against this backdrop, Om Gupta established Ashiana Housing as a game changer. Ashiana Housing was to provide middle-class homeowners with features previously seen only in higher-income level group housing:

As the company's bottom line improved and awards began to flood in, Ashiana Housing took another innovative step: it pioneered the retirement home movement in India, where seniors could live safe, active, joyful, and comfortable lives. Here was a corporation that prioritised needs over trends, quality over quantity, and people over profit margins.
